If there is a reason to complain about either a supermarket or a restaurant I will complain about it. Should I be afraid to post about what I think? I don't post about restaurants I love because I am satisfied that I got what I paid for and I go back. If I have something to say about not getting what I thought I should, not only will I post about it, I will enjoy posting about it. I am not going to be intimidated by someone complaining about my complaining
I've eaten at this place and didn't think it was anything special, and am in no hurry to go back there. I got a pretentious vibe from both the staff and a lot of the patrons as well. Definitely not my type of crowd.
I have eaten at ragazzi as well and I have to agree with zen88 the food is very good. It's not a chain place.
Hmmm, a couple of good reviews in the thread. Besides the OP, who panned this place, I've read some no so great reviews in the local news. I think Newsday called it nothing special, while specifically pointing out the high noise-level in the place.
Perhaps it's just very inconsistent but worth a try?
I'd say yes. It's not a shorts and tee shirts kind of place. Dress casual or better. And I have always found the food to be excellent. If you're not satisfied, ask for a manager. Whether I was a party of two or a party of 60, I was always taken very seriously. And any time I dealt with the manager it was to pay a compliment, I never had a complaint. And I'm fussy.
