Trying to get a group of people together after Thanksgiving. Need somewhere which is a casual bar, large enough to accommodate several dozen people in addition to it's normal crowd. Not looking for youngsters, attitudes and pinky rings.

Needs to be somewhere on the Nassau/Suffolk border. Kodiaks and Four have been ruled out. Prime looks like it might be too pricey.

Key words:
Casual
Over 40
Reasonable
Large group

Thanks in advance!

First place that comes to mind is Meehan's in HUntington - they even have a small room in back they might put you in if it's not being used for a party. They also have a regular seating area towards the back of the bar that can probably accomodate you.

East Islip hardly qualifies as the border of Nassau and Suffolk.
