Men on the move has a storage facility in Huntington based upon my own experience if you have the manpower to truck it over there and back it will may be much cheaper for you.
While convenient PODS are in my opinion, expensive. There is a delivery charge to drop it off and a delivery charge to bring it to your new location and then another charge to return it to them when empty. I have heard that depending upon the time of year and other variables they waive those return fees but I have no experience with this myself. You may have more of a leg to negotiate since you plan on storing but check it out with them.
I used pods a few years ago and I was very happy with them. I only needed it 1 week and they came dropped off the pod, then scheduled a pick up 1 week later.
Awesome.
Oh, and my sister used a pod for over 9 months, it worked out fine, and yes, it was cheap!
