How much does one cost? Can you recommend yours or one that you know is good. Also anyone that you would advice to stay away from...I want to avoid any other roadblocks and I feel like the cost of this project is just multiplying tenfold. The paperwork we would need is making me nauseous!

As I have posted previously, my neighbor is working with an expediter for over 16 months now. He did not come cheaply adding $2500 for his services and they are still not done. I can tell you from experience that you CAN do this yourself and if you are a bit diligent, the answers are all available at the town building dept, you just have to ask the questions.
I will retract my above statement if you are dealing with new construction as clearly I am not talking about that at all. I know it seems daunting but I think to spend that kind of money when you can do it yourself is worse. That is just MHO, however.
