I need to know:
if my office is in Suffolk (I have a DBA here already), but I do go to Nassau and have clients in Nassau, do I need a DBA there?

Are you changing the name? If not, it's just another office/address.

No. d/b/a is for NYS not counties.

But I had to file the DBA in Suffolk, not the state.

Could be that you file through your county clerk, but its a state issue. Similar to a Notary Public, Its a state license, but I process my renewal with the Suffolk Cty Clerk.
