Where can I join an adult softball league? (Huntington, Long Beach: 2014, beach)

I emailed the main softball association in L.I., but I never received a response. All of the websites I see indicate info on signing up your already made team. I don't have a team - would like to join one.

Where are you looking to play? My husband played this summer in Huntington. I think they might have fall ball but the regular season is over.

ABASports.com. In addition to the free agent list you can also go to their Facebook page and say you're looking for a team. This is the perfect time because teams are looking to fill rosters for the Fall season, which starts next week. Someone actually posted yesterday saying he's looking for a guy interested in filling a roster spot.

Semi Competitive Softball League looking for teams. Games are held in Long Beach Long Island at the Long Beach Recreation Center. They have two beautiful astro Turf Fields on the bay side of the island. Games are every friday night during the summer. Starting time is 7 or 8:20pm. League fee is only $600.00 and begins on Friday May 16th 2014. It's a fun league and Vinny and Paul who run the league do and excellent job! If you or anyone you know is interested in joining this league as a team or just a player call the Rec Center at 516-431-3890 and ask for Vinny or Paul Feronte.
