I would hate to see a poster like this kicked off, because the statements "I don't want to live near Jews...I'm not prejudiced" side-by-side are easily the most hilarious thing I've read today.
I would follow up with the recommendation that Woodmere and Cedarhurst would be the places you should look. Great Neck also is an area that somebody who doesn't want to live near Jews should seek out.
I find it kind of interesting that people can request information about areas with minimal seedy elements (we all know what they mean when this comes up) yet when someone asks about a place where people don't block roads on the weekend, drive non-religious stores out of business and where there aren't homes turned into houses of worship to avoid taxes, they are ostracized and considered a troll.

I am looking for where the OP said anything about blocked roads, or tax avoidance, and I am not seeing it.
As for non-religious stores, has NY changes so much from the days when Jews KEPT bloomingdales and zabars in business? Or are they now considered religious stores?
Of course for the actual frummies, it seems odd to me that simply not shopping where the merchandise is not of interest to them is "driving a store out of business" I confess to seldom shopping at Circuit City - did i drive them out of business?
Asking for a Catholic area is not the same as asking for a place with no catholics. Ditto wrt to blacks, presybeterians, or norwegian americans.
If he is a Palestine native, he might ask about Israelis. Or Zionists. he did not.
People are free to be bigoted jerks. Just as people are free to be backward and isolationist. But others are free to call them on it.
So by your standards, if OP asked for "Catholics Only" that would be fine.
