Thinking to buy a house around elementary school in great neck north part, but worry about if Asian kid will be happy there because I heard something years a go. Is there any change recent years? South part has too many Asian, which is also a concern.

The problem with Great Neck North is not racial. It doesn't matter if your asian, persian, jewish or martian. Its a class thing. Some kids come from uber mega wealthy families that its not healthy for a just a "regular" rich kid to hang out with them. They will make fun of your kid if he/she drives a BMW to school instead of the Maserati.

if u visit north elem. school recently, u will find more and more asian in lower grades, so the north high-school right now will be VERY diff. in a few years.
and again, what is your question? too many asian is a bad thing in south? but north has some bad things years ago? not sure what you mean, and what you want.

How come there is such a huge difference between the two schools? Is it more a teacher's reason or 50% asian in South?
