I've been to two- one is a very nice man but old fashioned office... not really technologically advanced at all.
The other one is very technologically advanced but not very easy to make an appointment with.. all they have available for a cleaning is either in March or on a Saturday at 7am!.. other than weekdays of course but I work full-time so thats tough.
My family and I are looking for an office that's friendly, knowledgeable, and ahead with technology.
Any recommendations?

Dr. Steven Katz located on Broadway in Malverne. Very good and technologically advanced and great with kids. they have TV's in each room and head phones and I think they have mild sedation, some people need that even for just a cleaning. I use a very good dentist in Hicksville. His name is John Marino. His address is 118 Jerusalem Ave in Hicksville. 1 block north of Old Country rd. His phone number is 516-938-0929
He is very good at explaining what needs to be done and does it in a friendly non judmental way. He offers his expert opinium but knows the final decision still lies with you.
I and my family have had cleanings, cavities filled, post and crowns and bridges and all his work is top notch.
I had posted the website to the dentist I used to go to and I was very impressed, they even have holistic and spa dentistry. I know he is expensive so for the OP sake I hope he takes their dental Ins.

I second this and I have been in the dental field for over 25 years
Holistic and Spa Dentistry...what a bunch of new age crap. What's next...free car wash with each cavity filled.
Ok then if you want to go a sadistic dentist go ahead. Most people hate dentists or had bad experiences when they were kids hence they do not go. He did not have this 20 years ago. I would go to him if he wasn't so expensive. He does not take many dental plans. I can understand your point, it does seem extreme but he has a huge clientell because of all of this.
I moved to Suffolk and was so satisfied with Dentistry Bellmore in Bellmore I still make the trip back there.
