that's not annoying... you know what is? The fire alarm from the station. It only goes off 3 rounds for 15 seconds but damn that thing goes off pretty loud daily, and year-round. We're not directly behind it but like 5 blocks away too.

Does anyone know why it needs to be so loud? Do firefighters from their homes not get a call otherwise? How many people need to rescue Garfield from the tree anyway?

Not to sound stupid here OP, but how exactly are these lawns going to get cut if there aren't these lawn crews? with scissors?

Noise will be made, its just a question of by who, for how long, and when.
