I am looking at private schools for my daughter. Currently she is at Upper Room but we are not happy with the services.

I am aware that the Knox is not a christian base school. But with the expense of tution I want to make sure it is worth the money.

Has anyone had any experience with this school?

What is the good and or the Bad

Any comments is great

I can't comment on Knox. The Stony Brook School in Stony Brook is Christian based.

I went to the knox school from 1989-1991.Obviously I had mixed feelings about the school in general, unfortunately most of them are negative. The school is EXTREMELY strict, the rules are not very fair, and the quality of education isnt that much better than what you would get in public school.I cant honestly say that there were any teachers that were exceptional.A lot of the teachers had attitude problems, and there is quite a bit of bullying going on.In terms of extracirricular options, there arent that many, and you would probably be better off considering public school. The only potentially good thing about the school is that there is a semblance of a family atmosphere, but even that is very subjective and conditional.I think that its no wonder why the school chooses not to advertise.I would NOT recommend it,for the most part.
