Newsday broke news? Interesting!

Quote:
The last Roy Rogers on Long Island has closed.
Dave Coffman, a regional facilities manager for the Arbee’s Food Systems, which owned the franchise, said the lease was ending for the Shirley location at the end of December and they decided to close it before the cold weather kicked in.
The location’s last day was Monday.

Wonder what's replacing it...I've heard White Castle, but I want an Arby's, Chick-Fil-A or Five Guys.

I liked their biscuits.

We do not need another fast food outlet. We could use another nail salon though

Shirley has approximately eighty zillion fast food chains, none of them good. Why not change that?

And I wouldn't put a Snooki salon in Shirley.

I always liked Roy's. Can't say the same for Shirley.

Shirley needs as many fast food outlets as possible. After all, the natives raise their kids with breakfasts of fritos and coco-cola

Have you seen the Pathmark there? No wonder they're eating fast food all the time.

Five guys ain't happening. For that area and aggressive expansions I say it will be White Castle. It fits best with the area.

That's what I'm thinking too. Either that or &@&#ing Starbucks. If it's anything else, I'd be shocked.
