Currently, I live in Flushing. I am joining my new work in Melville, shortly. I have done extensive research about commuting (public transportation) from Queens (Jamaica) to Melville.. Can anyone suggest me.. is it better to move to LI or stay in Queens only?

thanks

I moved from Flushing to Hicksville and I was working in the city at the time. I commuted by the LIRR but I'm not sure where there is a LIRR station in Melville. If it were me I would move to the Island.
