sorry Kev.....they added a hotel tower in 91....Stardust was built in the early 50's as was a portion of their hotel rooms [motel style]

Casino had the ABSOLUTE lowest ceilings I have EVER seen in a casino....it was WELLLL past it's prime...on a good day they could command 10% LESS then a downtown hotel for room rates.

Very true, boyd was actually much smarter than many of the larger corporations in town, especially mgm. He foresaw this recession and pulled the plug on echelon, and it turned out to be one of the smartest business moves ever.
