I'm moving to Las Vegas in the coming months and while searching online found an interesting house within a few minutes walk from Green Valley Park. Green Valley Park - Google Maps
Looking at Olecept's crime map : http://www.donohueteam.com/Crime/index.html

the 89120 area is not marked in green but the area right near by 89074 is. So is it correct to assume that the boundary between these two zip codes should be okay? Thanks in advance.

That area is very nice. You are basically on the western edge of green valley proper and very close to the dividing line between Henderson and las Vegas. The homes in the area were built in the late 80's-90's. To the north are more rural estates with acreage and some of the more exclusive, yet established neighborhoods in green valley, like quail ridge estates. For more up to date and specific crime data, visit the city of henderson's crime map as well as lvmpd.com. You'll find that the area is generally low in all types of incidents

That area will be fine.

Problems tend to cluster on the arterials...so it is nice to be off Warm Springs and off Pecos.

It is likely tolerable though anywhere in that area.
