for one, the nissan is stolen more than the audi, by far.. 2. those rates sound about right.. remember the rate quoted is the lowest one.. so it is assuming no tickets, accidents, and perfect or near perfect credit. try geico, they were the cheapest for me 398. full coverage 08 scion xb..

i played around with my quotes, if i added the 05 audi or 09 altima (trying to stay at same $$ - altima was a v6 sl, the audi was NOT a quattro), it would be 557. every 6 months for the altima and 587 for the audi.. the strangest thing though.. by adding either car, it bumped my scions up $80 each.

yeah i dont worry about the driving record. mine is perfect! :-)

yeah geico was that cheaper rate... it still seems like a zillion dollars. :-( i will have to get a job just to support having a car... nevermind for gas prices

but are those vegas "estimates" i mean i know people get discounts for multipule cars and blah blah blah (something else that wasnt in the estimate) but again i just wanted some ruff numbers...

Registration was another HUGE chunk if i remember right it was like 400 dolalrs a year... last time i registared a car (granted different state) but it was 32 dollars.

just curious because you mentioned the rates were "insane". as compared to where and what.. our insurance actually went down coming in from ohio... and the xbs are in the top 10 for cheapest to insure.. i bet if you punch in camry, accord, or civic, you will get a heck of a shock for car insurance.. and you are correct, when we went for plates, we payed 298 each.. i'm used to 80 bucks in ohio.. here it is based on the value of the car
