I currently have my toddler (almost 2!) in a daycare which I am very unhappy with. The owner is doing things in order to "save money" which very much bothers me, such as cutting her staff down to 5 and taking on 5 parent "volunteers."
I'd like to pull him out and place him somewhere else. I know that I have to do my part - google searching, visiting the daycares, etc., but I think my search would've been a lot easier the first time if I had gotten some opinions from other people. Sadly, my "gut instinct" didn't tell me that this daycare had problems from the very beginning, and the google reviews weren't very helpful either.
I'm looking for a daycare close to where I work, which is on Sahara near Decatur. Would any of you happen to know a good daycare that is in that general area? Or, in the alternative, how do any of you parents feel about Kindercare/La Petite? I'd really like to place him in a daycare that is part preschool, since he's not being taught ANYTHING at this place.

Sadly, no. The daycare decided not to do parent volunteers, but I still wax and wane when it comes to my opinion of them. They hired a few new teachers that seem to be doing better.
