Looks you were born with don't matter too much. You don't have to target 9's and 10's. Sometimes the attractive in a cute way girl is going to be a better woman than the really pretty one. Or maybe the one that just has a pretty smile. Sometimes its even the very pretty one who never gets approached.

Attire/cleanliness/the way you carry yourself do matter. If you don't buy some new clothes every year, start. If your clothes all come from you mom at christmas, make friends with a girl who will help you shop. When you go out, wear jeans and a non tucked in dress shirt. If its somewear nicer, don't wear the jeans. If you do a daytime activity and are wearing a t-shirt, go out and buy a new one that fits correctly. Part of my issue here is due to extensive poker playing in Vegas. Many of the players are locals under 35 years old. These guys have a strike against them already in that their occupation is poker player. But some are very good and successful. However, every day they show up, even in upper end casinos like Bellagio, unshaven, ratty jeans, ill fitting faded stained t-shirts, torn up shoes. Going like this, its next to impossible to meet women. A girl is just going to look at you like you are a nut.

Even money sometimes doesn't matter(although what women who is advanced in education and/or career wants to support a guy?).

Montreal is probably the only city(with maybe Vancouver)in ALL the 3 continents of the Americas where you will find a preponderance of EXTREMELY beautiful women(of all races & ethnicity)throughout the city.We have a downtown meat market scene where you will find the same Male/Female element describe by "Las Vegas Drunk" earlier.The Problem with my area is the weather( i.e.)atrocious winters & appallingly muggy summers along with a ridiculous,prevalent and annoying anti-English attitude.
The last time i was in Vegas was 2005 and i have been going there since 1985 however i have never be away from the strip or dtwn.
The funny thing about the Las Vegas gold digging douche bags(that LVD describe) witch are the absolute norm down Las Vegas blvd anywhere south of Sahara till the 215 highway is that the 6'-2",lot of $$ guys do not need them.
The kind of women that are available to them from the HIGH END escorts agency is far superior to any of that garbage found in clubs (or wherever) without their games and aggravation(s).The end of the night is never in doubt!Las Vegas is a true bachelor's paradise,hell even the "little guy" "can get his" by attending any of LEGAL brothels outside of Clark county.
If you want YahooO a serious relationship IMO you could try hanging around and look for opportunities in the upper middle class areas such as:Summerlin,West of 95 HGWY(off summerlin pkwy),Green Valley and in Henderson south of the 215/146.

I do plan on taking up a sport, maybe volleyball, softball or tennis. Hell, I may even join the gym, but not sure if gym is a easy place to approach women tho. Maybe I'll try some of the meet up groups. I think i will avoid the strip as most local do not hang out there.

The gym is probably one of the LAST places I would ever want to be approached by a guy. Well... now that I think about it, I guess there are some girls that go to the gym all dressed up and cute, with their hair and make up still done... just to look good. kind of like some girls do when they go to the beach. Ugh. that's just annoying. I go to the gym to work out... so i can look good when it's time to look good. LOL.

You guys are taking this way to serious. When dealing with Gold Digging women understand at some point their looks are going to go away. If that's all they have to offer you your better off without them. Every woman knows they are on borrowed time. There are constantly younger and better looking women reaching the age of 21 everyday. Consider this. How many times have you seen a man leave a woman for an older woman? Men just don't go after older women. So if a young tender Gold Digger gives you the brush off just keep moving. Gravity is slowly working it's magic.

This example can bring what I'm saying into perspective. If you have ever gone to a high school reunion and looked for that pretty girl who you wanted to get to know, well what did she look like now? Wife material is from the inside out, not from the outside in. A woman who lives by her looks is a future cat or puppy owner..Not a mate...
