I'll be in town next week to look at some properties at the low end. Can someone recommend an agent and lawyer? Thanks.

You do understand the difference between bash and criticize don't you? I think in the long run Vegas will wither on the vine because of high energy prices and drought like the civilizations that preceded; in the short term it's one of the cheapest places to live. Not shoveling 2' of snow and year round tennis does have it's appeal also.

It's nothing personal. There are positives & negatives no matter where you go. It's always a compromise. I don't like the fact that Vegas is as artificial as an Elvis impersonator, hot as an oven and dry as the moon for several months a year. I do like the fact it's cheap, plenty of sunshine, no winter to speak of, lots of entertainment, social & outdoor activities, no humidity and central to many natural wonders. If only they could import a little more rain.

well now.. i hate cleveland.. too much rain... too much snow... more crime than you can shake a stick at... I will agree with you about alot of the people here.. its to a point where i think everyone is lying when their mouth is moving... no offense to california people, but they seem the meanest..no waves no hi's , no nothing. the midwesterners on the other hand seem tolerable. ps.. so far i LOVE the heat.. just wish i could keep my damn pool at 88 degrees.. cheap definitely... i've been buying ribeye steaks for 5 bucks a pound at albertsons and cooking on the grill.. that is perfection... movies are expensive $11 ouch, but i can get 2 passes at costco for 14. .. and at least right now.. i see no need to import any rain.

Default Re:

Airics, did you ever see the BBQ packs they have at Fresh & Easy? You get like 4 steaks, 4 pork chops, and 4 sausage links, or something like that for $8.99? Seeing as how I only eat 1 out of 3, it's not worth my money, but they have a chicken one too...thighs and drumsticks. Pretty damn good deal if you ask me!
