We are looking to relocating to Las Vegas, I would appreciated if any one can point the good areas and neibourgh?? I hear noth side can be pretty bad?? its general??

I have a 11 years old and really would like to find a nice house in a nice area , but not far from down town..

So,... I look forward to hear any information thta helps on my decision.

Yes, the north side is terrifying. I live there and we fear for our lives daily. lol
Ok, i am kidding. But go to Henderson anyway. You will like it there.

Henderson is indeed a nice area, but it can be a long drive to downtown, especially in heavy traffic. I really like the 89128 zip code for accessibility, although schools may be a mixed bag due to close proximity with rougher areas (which are by no means "scary" like N. Las Vegas Blvd [probably what you've heard about]... just seedier, as in lower class demographics). I don't have kids, so don't really know the situation with schools in the area.

Summerlin , Ailante , Mountains Edge , Henderson, all nicer because they are on the outskirts of town.
