I will be moving to Las Vegas in August, and am needing to find an apartment - I'm thinking Green Valley/Henderson area. I've gone through the usual sites, but am having trouble finding a good number to actually visit. Theres one that looks nice in Silverado Ranch and Silverado Ranch, but I haven't heard much about those areas? Perhaps theres some gems out there that I haven't run across?

I'm looking to pay no more than $850/month. My work is south of the airport. If anyone could suggest nice apartments for a young professional, or maybe a good realtor?

I just relocated to Las Vegas from Southern California, July 1, 2009. I spent several months looking at apartments in Green Valley and Summerlin. While they are both very nice areas I like Summerlin best. However if I had choosen Green Valley I would have gone with Pacific Islands Apartments, but since I decided on Summerlin I went with Indigo Creek Apartments. I've been here for a week and half now and am still happy with my decision. Also I love the fact that every store known to man...okay...almost every store known to man is 1 block away from my complex. Heck...it isn't even a block. I could walk there if it weren't so darn hot right now. So anyway, it's best to stick with Green Valley and Summerlin and although people say Henderson too...it actually has some not so nice areas. Green Valley is actually the nice area within Henderson. Good luck with your move.

I've live here: Las Vegas Nevada Apartments - Home - Rancho Serene Apartments

These are great apartments, a one bedroom is $795/month. They are 1 block south of 215 on Eastern, a very convenient location. They would be close to your job. I'm very satisfied with the apartment complex, the management and the location.
