About an year ago, we went to a beautiful Casino in Vegas just for fun and to my surprise, I actually hit a lucky combination on one of those 3-drum slot machines (I think it was Bar-Bar-7 or Bar-Bar-Bar). The machine started making a non-stop noise, so I thought something was wrong with the machine. I hit the cash button and a little later, the sound stopped and I got a receipt worth $25.

My question is, if I had NOT hit the cash button and let the machine make more noise, would I have won more money after waiting for the sound to die off? In other words, did I screw up badly by hitting the cash button too early ?

Any input will be highly appreciated....

No, you got everything. It just makes those sounds so you get excited, has no bearing on anything.

Warning: the noises and lights are just a ploy to get you back to try to replicate that feel.
