I just wanted to thank everybody who has posted on here giving advice on relocating to the LV area. I've read as many threads as humanly possible in the last week or so and they have really helped. I was about to make offers on a couple of properties, site unseen (except for pictures), until I read all these threads. I use Google Earth to kinda cruise the neighborhoods and that and the listing and the RE agent usually does the trick. But I haven't been to Vegas in many years and a lot has changed, So your tips and advice were very much appreciated.

Thanks again to all,

Joe currently in WV

Thank you for searching. I can't tell you how old it gets answering the same questions over and over. Good luck with the move.

Default are you moving to Vegas?

I really appreciate you all and every single tidbit of advice. I will happily own a home in Vegas by Feb 20th (and I do not need a job) Thank you all for the priceless information and conversation.

Actually, Vegas is lucky to be receiving people that are as thoughtful and kind as to thank the forum folk!

See, there are nice people in Vegas! One of my favorite things about Vegas, next to the weather!

Good luck to the newbies!
