I am getting too darn confused going on the internet and searching and searching. Can anyone shed some light on any apt. complex in Summerlin around the 800-1000 rent amount that a person should not overlook when shopping for a short term lease. I gave up on the furnished concept. Just somewhere very very safe.

Or a reliable apt finding service.

Thx for your help. Just want one long enough to shop for a home and move into one. Max 2-3 mo.

The short duration might give you trouble. I would actually look on Craig's list for an individual investor that owns a condo in Summerlin. They are going to be more willing to work with you I imagine. I have a 1/1 in Summerlin (rented out) for $775 1-year lease, but if someone had called me up and offered $825 for a month to month I probably would have done it.

Here's a link to what is strictly refered to as Summerlin if you are very specific on that point.

There is a long concensus that the best apartment available in Summerlin area is Wellington Meadows. That includes testimony from a couple of people who stayed there.

After messing with this for a while you may find cheaper but there does not appear to be any better.

GoreeGal, there are also a few forum members as tenants in that complex. It is a good one, and you can walk to many things, plus the nice library on the corner of Sahara/Grand Canyon. Plus lots of shopping and restaurants close by.

Default Apartment in Summerlin

I would look at Altessa in Summerlin. The address is 100 Park Vista Drive, they are brand new, 1,2 and 3 bedrooms. Five minutes from the new Red Rock casino. Gated, everything from grocery stores to banks and movie theatres are within a 5 mile radius. Check them out

Altessa is also very nice. Their prices start at $1,000 for a 1 bedroom though.
