Well I wish it would get down to $1.50 a gallon again!!! But I think you will have to go back in time a few decades to get it.

Default Is it easy to get duped in Las Vegas?

I heard there are three kinds of men and women
in Las Vegas and this probably applies across the globe too.

Some women like nice guys. Some like bad guys. And others like money and use people as a means of gettin it.

So my question is how can you differentiate the three? I don't want to get used.

No offense, Really, but if you haven't learned basic judgement skills regarding the people you attract into your life, I don't think anyone on here can give you a foolproof guide.

I mean, sure, there are full fledged con-artists out there (here and everywhere) but the likelihood of that happening is really dependent on what crowd you hang out with.

I think when gas was $1.50, oil was at $30 a barrel. Its possible but I doubt it.

Default Aqualung's Mom Passed

Hey everyone..

I got a really sad email on Saturday morning...our fellow Las Vegan and good friend here at City-Data Forums let me know that his Mom passed away that morning in her sleep. The cause of death is still not known.

She had been in and out of the hospital and the rehabilitation place since April..and she had only been home two weeks when she passed suddenly.

Aqualung is devastated and now is faced with some really difficult life decisions, he might have to move, and he doesn't know what's going to happen to his beloved doggie children.

Would you all say a prayer and send some good karma his way? His heart is breaking right now and he needs all the good thoughts we can send his way.

Awww, I am so sorry to hear that. Will definitely keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Where did his mother live?

Oh, I was just thinking she lived out of state somewhere because you mentioned he may have to move.

Thanks for passing on the info. I feel so bad for him.

I think it's under $1 a gallon in an alternate universe.
