(pssst...we don't mention the massacre though...)
Why not mention the massacre? Are you Mormon? I know they dont like to talk about it. If you are Mormon I guess you disagree with September Dawn. What a great movie.

You are right though.....people drive to Veyo from all over the place just to buy those pies. We love to eat there too. Great little cafe and friendly people too.

Oh yea I fished Enterprise Res also. Then came the drougt. Now only the origional stream is still there like it was before it was dammed up. That flood 2 years ago washed out most of the roads though. To this day they never rebuilt it. Nice semi improved RV park there too right next to the water.

Wana have some fun? Go out state highway 56. Make a left on Pinto Rd which just after the old iron ruins. This road goes through Dixie National Forest for a few miles then turns into just a dirt road. It goes for about 22 miles of hard smooth dirt road all the way to Veyo where we always stop and fish at Beaver lake on 18. Half way down Pinto Rd you will find an origional home from the 1800s in pretty good shape all by itself. It was used by Mormon settlers way way back as a resting place. No one and nothing is around anywhere. The house is open. Just go in. There is a small pond there I pulled some Bass out of (and released them).

This is a fantastic ride for anyone wanting to explore. Pinto Road.

No I'm not LDS. I said that because I know they don't like to talk about it and it's kind of rude to press them on it.

Didn't know Enterprsie Res. was gone.
