I have been reading through several of the apartments/what areas are safe/ where to live, posts. It IS very overwhelming, so I thought I might ask for some specific help. I am currently living in Columbus, Ohio, and have a job offer in LV that is going to move me out there in September. I am a female in my early 20s, and just want to make sure that my husband and I live somewhere safe/reasonably safe.
My new job is located at 3110 East Sunset Road, 89120. We're looking for moderately priced studio/1bdr apartments close to this address, but if I have to drive a little further (20 minutes) to get to work that's fine too. This will be my first big move (native Ohioan) so I want to make this crazy transition a little less overwhelming. Any info on apartments, or zipcodes to check out, would be extremely helpful!
Thanks in advance!

89120 is a nice enough area. Others nearby are 89123 or 89014.

I'd suggest looking around Green Valley. 89074.

Then Anthem is wonderful, but pretty expensive. 89052.

89012 wouldn't be bad, either. And it's probably the cheapest of the 3.

89123 is only a problem if the OP plans on having kids....it's zoned for one of the new high schools (Liberty, I think). The other Henderson zip codes are zoned for more established schools (such as Coronado and Green Valley, which are considered some of the best in the valley).
