From today's Wall Street Journal (5/9/08):

"Cosmopolitan Resort Casino, the casino-hotel complex he's building on the Las Vegas Strip, got caught last year in the capital-markets crisis and is headed toward foreclosure. Deutsche Bank AG has sunk nearly $1 billion into the project, and two other lenders have provided $175 million."

The "news" is that the main player, Eichner, is expected to surrender ALL interests in this project, rather than find investors, as was reported in the past. Hyatt is already advertising this project, and apparently will operate this resort.

Default Cosmopolitan

I have a deposit down on a unit at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. I don't trust the project any more with all the financial woes it's going through. I want my deposit back. If anyone else would like their deposit back, lets all get in touch with each other. My email is Dwn2earth4321@aol.com. Thank you.

Start a web page...call it "COSMOBAILOUT" or something. Than push it in all the Las Vegas lists and blogs.

You need a contact point.

You might also consider trying to get a Las Vegas Law Firm to take it on.

Without a center these things go nowhere.

I hope Harmon tower comes down soon. That will put a bunch of people back to work for a few months.
