Hello All...thanks for taking time to read my post. I have done a search for different threads, but all I can find are posts about Cox.

Phone and Internet: I'm moving from CA where I'm currently using ATT for both phone and internet. After speaking with ATT they said that they do not provide residential service to where I am moving to (southeast LV/Henderson) As a soon to be new med school grad...I have no money and don't really want to have to pay for another modem/router from a different company but it's looking like i'll be having to do this. What are my options for phone and internet in the LV area?

Cable/Dish: I currently have Dish, but unfortunately the apartment I'm moving into does not have a southward facing balcony. I have read that many people who post are not very fond of Cox. Does anyone have a positive experience with Cox? Are there other options for cable or satellite?

Thanks for all your help. You all have been very helpful in this endeavor!!

Cox is the only one that can bundle all three - television/phone/internet.

Embarq has a deal with Dish Network for tv and provides phone and internet, but I think their service is worse than Cox. Since you can't use a dish anyway, you'd be best served getting all three from Cox.

Cox is pretty much the only game in town - they're not great, but Embarq is horrible and best avoided entirely. Get all your services through Cox.
