Really interesting interview with comedian Carrot Top. Says he goes out and shops at Smiths and Albertsons and talks about the city of Vegas, community among other topics. Has anyone seen his show in town?

I've seen it multiple times (house seats). I have taken friends and family. I haven't had anyone say that they didn't like it. I still laugh out loud every time I see it.

I remember him from way back in his early days when he was on Star Search, so his show at the Luxor is about what I expected. It was pretty funny, but not as raunchy IMO as everyone warned me about. It's in a very small theater so there's not a bad seat and they encourage you to bring in your drinks.

It's not something I would watch multiple times, though.

His jokes appeal to the masses (i.e. dumb people).

If you are fine with Homer Simpson type humor you will have a blast.

Was excited about this story until I saw this. Thanks for the heads up.

Not that it matters, but he reminds me more than a little of Rip Taylor.https://youtu.be/WQN3Augv2PA

Meh. It's silly prop comedy. Nothing wrong with that! Not everything has to be intellectually stimulating. Sometimes you just want to laugh at nonsense and enjoy yourself.

The Simpsons has been on TV for what? 30 some years? To compare it to that is not an insult, what The Simpsons is doing obviously works.

I used to see him all the time on the treadmills at the 24 Hour Fitness on Rainbow, but I haven't seen there in a few years.

Yeah. I used to see him at the gym all the time. He always looked buff and had intense workouts. @ City Athletic Club on Sahara
