Yeah, roundabouts are pretty prevalent over this way now. Some truly have no reason for being, I do not think, but they get put in. A newer "thing" is the diamond dealie for interstate on/off ramp areas. The diamond was a touch annoying to deal with at first, but it seems fine now that they made the pattern and signage clearer.

One thing I have noticed from previous visits to Las Vegas is that road lane striping, reflectors, and such seem to be far less evident than in Atlanta. There were definite places I had to guestimate where my proper lane was at night. At least on the surface streets. That was interesting.

Anywho! So, between reading various threads here, on reddit, and more time on google maps, it appears the very very broad rule of thumb would be: Stay west of Rainbow and hug the 215 by a couple blocks on either side?
