Plus the houses now here in North Carolina are over price I know it seller's market but still houses are expensive they range from 300-600K in a nice neighborhood and school system. Most restaurants close at 9PM. Malls closes at 9PM. Unless you go downtown where bars open until 2AM. During winter storm there is a potential that you can have power outage up to 3 days. RTP is good for those who are in IT industry. 440 and 540 traffic 20 -30 minutes delay during rush hour. Lot's of outdoor long walking trails and lakes. 2 hours from the beach and 3 hours from the mountain. Also in RDU you have big Trauma level center hospitals and a lot of excellent medical providers in different field. Cary, Apex North Raleigh, Wake Forest are all known for good neighborhood and good school system.
