What's the best bank here?
I've been with One Nevada for several years.
They recently updated their system and they're messing with my deposits. Not cool with me at all.
I am now looking for a new bank.

I will not us BofA.
Wasn't fond of wells fargo either.
Need something with either a lot of branches or a branch near sahara and nellis.

I have been banking with ALLY since I moved to Las Vegas 7 years ago.
Never had a problem and do everything online. Including pay all bills and they do not charge you to send a check.

I used America First. They were great. Never had any fees (even certified checks, wires, etc) but that could have been due to my balances

I'm gonna 2nd Ally, the only downside is not having a brick and mortar location.

Is Nevada State Bank only in Nevada then? I'm kind of wondering about switching to a bank that's local and isn't located in CA. A few years ago, the state of CA just took money out of my business checking account for "overdue taxes," and I contested this successfully, they were completely in the wrong, I have no idea why they would do that without even sending me a letter, asking me, anything. Just literally STOLE the money, with no legal authorization to do so, and then when they returned it of course I get no apology. What I did get, however, is a $125 fee or something from Wells Fargo because of this unexpected transfer, and they weren't willing to waive it -- I don't blame them, it created a hassle, I'd charge a company too if I were Wells Fargo -- because it wasn't their problem, it was the State of California. If I had my business checking in Nevada, a state with no state income taxes and no "Franchise Tax Board fee" like CA, that wouldn't have happened. They would have had to sue me or something.

Plus, I hate Wells Fargo, I'd rather switch.

I bank with One Nevada and haven't had any problems. Can you be a little more specific about your deposits? I haven't noticed anything different.

Definitely done with BofA and Wells!

We use Chase and it's been fine. No problems. All my monthly deposits and payments go through just fine. I like that I can deposit checks using the app. There are branches everywhere.

I need the services of one of the large national banks. Chase works well for me. I will never deal with BofA again.
