My daughter fits very well into Boston. She is an IT recruiter and apparently good at it. But she does march to a different drummer.

And I agree there is some very interesting weirdness to Las Vegas. But I mostly enjoy it.

And I can pass as an east coast type any time I wish. Modify my accent a little bit and I speak pure Manhattan. I was born there after all and it was the native tongue of my parents. My mother was so NY that when she ended up in rural Ohio on the river of the same name she and her ice man had to communicate in writing. Could not understand each others dialect.

I can even do LI where I went to high school. And the Uncle I lived with was the ultimate NY stereotype...a Jewish dress salesman.

Very much impressed my wife when I took her on an 8 hour tour of NYC. parked the car up town and did it all by subway and ferry and shoe leather. Left her exhausted as we got back on the plane and flew back to God's Country.

14% corporate tax break annually (From 35% to 21%) : 2% cost of living raise and mind you not guaranteed that everyone gets it. Yeah tax and spend liberals alright!

Time to get rid of Republicans come election time.
Or just in general

Yeah, if you want a terrible country and a socialist haven where there's a miserable economy, no incentive for success, and government handouts and interference in everything. No thanks!

Tax breaks to support businesses and create jobs are not a bad thing, by the way. I'd rather give money to job creators than homeless people any day.

The great thing about America is there are many states with many different ways of doing things.
If people would understand that and stop trying to change where they are, and instead go to where things are done their way, we'd all be a lot better off.

Did you ever stop to think that if Las Vegas became a more mature city, more people would move here?

For one, the car-hating millennials skip over the cities without a light rail system.

I don't want it to become anything. I like it how it is.
Business friendly, affordable, diverse, and not over populated.

Well those job creators tend to cheat the average joe on taxes. So basically the ones creating those jobs are the average Amercan taxpayers. Who do you think supports businesses, average Americans.

Speaking of taxes there is this fast food Chinese restaurant around town that is very popular its Panda something, anyway everytime their patron pays for the food they solicit for charity. Meaning they want you to give your spare change like rounding off to the nearest dollar. Anyway, this chain will then donate it to charity under their name and guess what goes on during tax time. Those charitable contribution coming from its customers will then be used to lower their business tax rate. Legal yes but moral, well that is how billionaire business people get rich, under the backs of average people. Just thought of mentioning it by the way. Im most definitely sure there are plenty more tax loopholes in our system.

As far those in need, like a homeless who truly deserve it, nothing wrong with helping them get back on their feet. Even temporary housing and livelihood training.

.....how about tariffs, who is going to pay for those tariffs on all the imported goods coming from overseas? That's right it will be passed along to the average Americans.

How about we don't have taxes or tariffs?

I mean seriously, there's not one good thing the government is doing with our tax money.

Exactly. Let's start with the roads. I don't know anyone who needs those.
