Have you contacted the management company? Did you get a copy of your CC&Rs? Who manages your HOA payment??

Try -
Homeowners Associations in *Clark*county Nevada

If that does not work drop me a DM with the name or an address and I will see if it turns up through RE Sources.

Check the Secretary of State's Business Entity Search. Your HOA is required to submit an annual list of officers. Their names, as well as the name of your property management company, will appear there.

Thank you....I take my dues to the property management company, so they should be able to tell me then. As I understand it, or, maybe not, the Directors represent the owners of the HOA, to the management company. If we have safety concerns, do we inform the management company? or, the board..

The directors are elected by the home owners in the HOA unless it is new and still being built. Then the directors are mostly appointed by the developer.

Most places you take safety concerns to the management company. If that does not work you take them to the board or at least talk to a director.

Note that HOAs come in many flavors...from very detailed and involved to virtually nonexistent. You can generally tell by looking at the documents you received when you bought. Meeting minutes often give a good clue. But extensive rules and regulations and architectural review boards are marks of an active HOA.

...or if you want to, you could easily tell by just looking at the physical condition and vibe of the community as a whole. Clean and neat = HOA enforcement. Dirty and decrepit = little to no enforcement
