Highs in the 60s? Lows in the 40s? You get NO sympathy whatsoever. It will be a week and a half before we see the up side of freezing, and most of that will be in the 20s and below.

Sometimes, to see what's coming, look at the weather map of California. If there's a storm crawling down the coast from OR/WA, expect some nasty accompanying winds, like last year during their El Nino, which can create miserable windchill.

My biggest complaint living her is the windblasters that come thru here, occasionally.

So far, this Fall/Winer has been idealistic, given I'm a night shift worker, out riding my bike early morning hours, the coldest part of the day, and, blessedly, little or no wind!

It's going up to 65* today and I'm playing golf in Boulder City, which is pretty close to our house in Palm Canyon. I was in the Chicago area last year at this time and this morning they had a wind chill of -14 below zero. 'Nuff said about that!

I have Las Vegas, NV, West Des Moines, IA, Midlothian, IL, Laguna Beach, CA, and Dublin, Ireland weather on my phone. No need to come here for easily obtainable information.

And then give others grief over pointing out the obvious...

It's been a pretty typical winter thus far imho.
Cold nights with weather remaining chilly until around 10:30 AM at which point the sun starts to warm things up to a relatively pleasant level assuming no wind.

Now that I've picked on you a bit....

We have not been below freezing this year. First time since they started keeping records. And temps have been above average.

in other words, it's AWESOME! T-shirt weather all day, some even wearing shorts. But lets keep that our little secret and don't tell all those people where it's teens below zero without wind chill. They might all want to come here...LOL
