Tonight people were getting pulled over in a speed trap on Sahara. Hopefully people were just getting warnings if anything..

Seen some of the worst crashes on Sahara. They seem to get a lot of them too.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Stay safe. There will be lots of drinking and driving in Las Vegas.

Sahara cant hold a candle to Durango on the 515 side.
Every night---like 4 or 5 times a week.

Brutal.
There are more people pulled over than driving it seems!

You know how many speeding tickets I've had in my entire life? One. Fifteen years ago on Eastern when I found myself driving like the morons who come here from out of state and can't resist our open, level, and well paved streets.

You all are taking out pedestrians daily, causing fender benders, and deserve every ticket you get. I hate cops, but if that is what is takes to slow you people down, so be it. And EA, don't give me any bs, because I know how many accidents you've had.

Happy Thanksgiving and slow your roll. Peace!

Cops cause more accidents pulling people over than they prevent with tickets.
Speed is NOT the most common contributor to wrecks. Slow idiots cause far more wrecks than people "speeding"
What pisses me off is that our speed limits are set by 1950's car standards. There is absolutely no reason to have such low speed limits unless you WANT TO EXTORT MONEY FROM PEOPLE.
Every study ever conducted shows that higher speed limits are safer.

Here is a great video on the subject.

My wife and I have had 3 speeding tickets in the last 21 years in Las Vegas. All three were revenue not danger tickets. Mine was coming over the carpool lane from Summerlin Pkwy to the 95 on the MOV lane fly over. The motorcycle cop was at the bottom of the sharp grade. I felt particularly stupid as I had gone through it a half hour before and noted the presence of the motorcycle cops. So $250 for stupidity.

My wife got her last coming out of the airport. On the downhill they were running a massive 10 or 12 motorcycle speed trap. She was in the middle of the pack and once the officer realized she was a local he basically told her it was a revenue operation and she should just you the downgrade option to reduce it to a parking event.
