That's an extreme exaggeration it's not like that at all I have lived here 2 years and no issues and as young pregnant woman i wouldn't even be all that concerned walking around at night if I had to ...the person above obviously had a bad experience which is unfortunate but doesn't mean itd be like That for you . Good luck on your search

It may be extreme, but that area has gone downhill. 10 even 5 years ago is was so much nicer

I feel like that can be said for any part of Vegas.

Thanks California!

Property crime is well down from 10 years ago. And down from 5 years ago. A little above the national average.

Violent crime is down from 10 years ago and up a bit from 5 years ago. Higher than the national average.

Henderson numbers which are likely representative of suburban Las Vegas are well below national averages.

There are really no indications of a crime wave in LV. The 2017 numbers will be out shortly and we will see where we stood last year. I expect they will asterisk the Oct 1 massacre.

Wasn’t saying a wave at all. The crime should be expected. More population, more crime

FBI Crime reports...

This is the current one for 2016. 2017 should be out in the next week.

Generally Table 4 is the one of interest.

Generally quoted as crimes per 100,000 people which should not move a lot with population increases unless the one added are trouble.
