We are having a tough time. So far two hires have turned out to be less than acceptable so we are asking for recommendations.

All we want is someone who will listen (listen, damnit!) do a good job, handle yard maintenance, irrigation problems, and landscaping.

We have been using Tino's Landscape for the past 5 years. He is very reliable and takes care of the yard. He even did the landscape on our backyard. 702-237-1727.

It would be helpful for you to tell us how much you are paying them roughly by the hour.

It could be you're just not paying enough to get their attention.

LOL! I payed what they quoted me. If they want more money to do a better job they should either raise their prices or quote a multi-tiered structure. No hourly rate, just a flat fee. From a low of $60 to $125 and they guy charging $60 did a better job. Reliability was his problem.

First of all, $60 is crazy low. I wouldn't walk across the street for $60.

What did you expect the guy to do for $125. How long would it take?

And how did you pay them?

If you gave them a check, they expect at least a $20 cash tip.

Remember, this is Vegas.

No one I know tips their lawn guy. I give them $100.00 at Christmas.

Here is someone numerous neighbors and us use. Yes he speaks english and listens. (Trust me I know what you mean about listening, they do the opposite.) Owner is actually a black guy. has several working for him. 2 times per month they are out and he is here at least once with the group.

I can't tell you what I pay, your situation is most likely different. But he's the cheapest and most reliable I have ever had in 17 years. Which is why he does a great deal of our street.

Yep, got Tony (702-237-1727) gave us estimate. For backyard with just few bushes and few trees $80 per month. Bit overpriced.
