A cashier at Trader Joe's told me they are looking at an April 2017 opening.

was thinking the same but now apparently not with the other one in Centennial Hills. Hope that it won't become a .99c store or something like that.

For those that don't know, Aliante does have a new and lesser known health grocery store chain called Natural GrocerS on Simmons (Aliante Pkwy) and Centennial Pkwy which also used to be a Fresh and Easy

As for the new 95/Ann Rd location, I don't care for that whole area since its so congested. Would have preferred something on N. Decatur and 215 Beltway or near Centennial Hills Hospital on N. Durango

That area is not badly congested. The congestion that exists is the 95/215 interchange which will vastly improve once they build one.

Locals use the side streets which have little traffic. Come in from Ann or Tropical there is virtually none.

I really wish the one on Washington and Buffalo was bigger. I love my Trader Joe's however.

That is great news for that part of town that has sorely been unserved by decent grocery shopping. Centennial Center however is a traffic disaster when it comes to making left hand turns.
