Hello.
We have been here 4 months so this is our first holiday with a stucco house.

I do not plan on doing much for halloween but I got thinking about Christmas, I am interested in putting up a garland or two and am wondering besides making holes in the stucco what works. I am imagining that the 3M command hooks will not work due to the rough texture.

what have you used that works ?

thanks

garage door trim should be wood so you could secure it with cup hooks etc we have 2 pillars outside the front door and on those we will use fishing line to secure the 2 stars we put on them

Hubby just puts the lights on the trim, ALL the trim and the garage and the front doors and all over the tree in front and along the border in the front yard. The outside pales in comparison to what we do inside. We actually have neighbors that come over to have their pictures taken in front of one of the four trees we put up. Needless to say we start decorating the first week of November. And no, no children, just us two old folks lol

A dab of hot glue will get it attached to the stucco.

Several years ago now my neighbor glued electric candelarias to his roof line. He never took them down again, and the new owner hasn't either. I think they are stuck permanently unless they wants to re-stucco.
