Lastly, there's a place in the Hard Rock Hotel titled Culinary Dropout. They had a fried chicken night, which was awesome. I believe now fried chicken is simply on the menu and I want to suggest that their prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

For as long as I've lived in town and have passed by Farm Basket on West Charleston, I have yet to try their food. Perhaps the location is not convenient for me.

The superclucker used to be better because it was served on a roll that had just a touch of marmalade baked into it. But the supplier / baker passed away several years ago, so just a regular roll, but always fresh. It's still very good. Comes with a side of cranberry sauce to put on the sandwich.

I don't even like French fries, but I eat theirs. Definitely not health food, but I've been known to drive ten or fifteen minutes out of my way for a fix. If you're going to eat fast food, why not enjoy it, right?

Lately, the best french fries I've had was at Norm's Eggs Cafe in front of Desert Breeze Park, perhaps because it was freshly made but it tasted so great, right crispness and I can taste the potato not the seasoning. Perhaps the oil was clean too.

Every now and then I see this post bumped on Eater Las Vegas' facebook page.

Where To Find The Best Fried Chicken in Las Vegas - Eater Vegas

Honey Salt won some awards but I just read they have a new chef. The Park on Fremont looks good as well as M&M Soul Food Cafe. I know Hash House a Go Go is dang good and they have great big portions! Flock and Fowl also has rave reviews. Chow is a new branch of the Downtown Projects' Eat by the same chef. Eat is really popular and she was able to pay back her loan quickly and herald as one of their successes, so I think it's safe to assume her new restaurant location, Chow, may be good as well.

Another place I'd recommend that won awards for their fried Chicken is Soyo Korean Barstaurant. Everyone I know raves about their fried chicken. It's garlic honey flavor or something like that.

Ellis Island has some of the best "diner" food around. That's our go-to every time we are in town.

For delicious melt in your mouth Chicken Katsu, Jumping Rice and Rolls on West Flamingo/215 across the road from Home Depot, has got you covered. Lunch fare is good enough with soup and a little salad. Dinner serving is double but without the soup and salad both lunch and dinner priced at 9.00 and with a drink comes to a little over 11.00. Restaurant is fast casual. You order at the counter and the food will be served to you on your table. Restaurant is actually nice for a fast food joint.

It will take me a while to try all the places on that list. The one that really looks good to me is the one at the Red Rock.

Flock and Fowl is known more for Hainanese (poached) chicken than fried chicken. I wouldn't have thought to try the fried chicken there.

All the best fried chicken I've had was at casual restaurants. I've had the fried chicken at Honey Salt and a Michael Mina restaurant in San Jose and I wouldn't order either again.

And regarding chicken tenders, I've been known to go to the one across Sahara from The Lakes, and order "The Box" combo when my wife is out of town. If you like boneless bites of fried chicken, order the Karaage at Ramen Tatsu during happy hour (half off, $3 instead of $6 for an order).
