Yawn, that is old news. There was a thread on here last year about it.

Here in the Chicago area (where we know pizza) Giordano's is a notch above Pizza Hut and Papa John's. Now if it were Lou Malnati's or Gino's East, than I could see someone getting excited.

Windy city beefs n pizza over by Eastern and 215 (near Silverado Ranch blvd I think) was very good... I'm fairly sure the owners are from Chicago

Best deep dish I've had was at the pizza place in palace station, little Tony's.. It's one of their specials

Not sure how these places would fare against Chicago's best though, would need some peeps from there to chime in

Lots of new stuff coming to that grand bazaar place, might actually have to visit the strip one day

I've heard the the Secret Pizza place in the Cosmo is really good. It's somewhere on the 3rd floor and doesn't have a lot of signs on how to get there. Guess that's why it's a secret.

We don't spend much time on the Strip, and even less at the Cosmo, but that place might be worth checking out one of these days.

I like Giordano's. I ate at their South Side location quite a bit (probably too much) when I was a grad student at UofC, but of course that was decades ago.

I've eaten there a few times. It's decent, but if you're looking for the best (in my opinion, of course) it's always:

1. Settebello
2. Pizza Rock

Interesting. I looked at the menus of both places they give all their pizzas names, and all they all have predetermined toppings. That is something we don't do in Chicago (and probably most Midwest and East Coast cities).

Here, you order by thin crust or deep dish and tell them what you want on it. I'm a cheese and sausage thin crust guy. That's it. Many would call that New York style but I've never liked all the dough in the deep dish stuff.
