Anything they could do would be an improvement! Would certainly bring more jobs to the area. Not good jobs, but jobs. That has to be an improvement.

That article is almost a year old. New owners took all the good video poker like full pay deuces out and made all the blackjack 6-5. I think they took the craps table out too. Most or all of the coin games are gone. A bunch of the place was empty when I was there last so maybe they were going to bring in more games.

I can't figure out why they would take the playable games out and make blackjack as bad as the Strip. Maybe they know something I don't.

I stopped in awhile back when I was in the area for an off road race...to grab a bite at Denny's. It was early in the day, there were a few people gaming. Almost a ghost town, but I have to say, the breakfast was great....probably the best Denny's I've had. And yes, I was sober.

The sign was still there when I dropped by months ago but the new name of the casino is or will be Terrible's Roadhouse.

Why put jobs in the middle of nowhere with no housing around?

You would be surprised. Quite a few people live out there.

Alot of workers in Jean and Primm live 20 miles away in Sandy Valley.

It's only 25 mins from my house in GV to the Gold Strike. It is exactly the same time for me to go to Red Rock Casino, and would be a much easier commute, traffic-wise.
