Hey guys,

So I'll be moving Vegas in the next month or so. I don't have any friends, or family to stay with...so I'll need a temporary place whilst I'm apartment hunting.

Is there a cheap hotel, or guesthouse where I could stay for a week or two? Preferably in the Spring Valley area?

Thanks!

Yes, but they are pretty skeevy. Are you a guy?

Cameron Suites
Yea.

6"2 and 190lbs. Skeevy doesn't worry me...so long as my beauty sleep isn't interrupted by cacophony.

Did you stay there?

I'm taller than you are. I have 50 pounds on you. I wouldn't stay there. It's noisy. It's sleazy (and not the "fun" kind of sleaze). It's a bad section of Spring Valley.

If you want to stay next to tweakers and crack whores, you've found the right place. But there are only a few worse sections of town than those short-stays on Trop -- the UNLV area of Trop and Maryland, the downtown area around Jefferson and D, and the underground storm sewer city.

All the cheap weeklies are pretty skeevy, but this one is in an area that isn't concentrated with them. I haven't stayed in one though. Las Vegas - Valley View Hotel | Extended Stay America

Airbnb. My husband and I stayed with a couple for a month while we decided where we wanted to live. Many people will offer discounts for extended stays

Yea, this option actually looks cheaper than hotels.

I'll probably just do this.
