i need a new sofa+ love seat or sectional, not looking to spend much, have been to some big box furniture stores like RC Willey, Walker and others like Big Lots and World Market and some forgettable-name discount store, and even Colleen's Consignment

I know there are similar threads, but my main question is has anyone bought off eBay? some of the stuff on there *looks* good, but I'm worried about comfort and return shipping costs

even at this price point, i found some really nice options that i got to test out in a b&m store, but higher prices, taxes and shipping mean i would save around $300 by buying from ebay

Costco has a bunch of furniture out right now within your price range. Nice quality.

I've had great luck with Craigslist -- but that was back during the height of the crash when everyone was liquidating.

We have, also. When we moved here 2 1/2 years ago, we furnished most of the house locally. Bought some of the floor samples from World Market for half off. We ended up not liking one of the sectionals, so sold it on CL for just under what we paid for it, and replaced it with one on CL that we liked better.

But, to the OP, if you're going new, check out Walker Furniture Outlet on Cheyenne. They stock World Market items after they are done with them.

CL! I have gotten beautiful furniture on CL. The deals can't be beat. Just be patient and shop. When you find what you want if you need someone with a truck to move it for you, you can find that on CL too!

You do need to be careful. I never go alone to look at anything! And I'm not shy about asking for more pictures either.

BTW I bet the Handcock and Moore being sold by foundapeanut is quite nice. Their leather is great!
