Hi everyone,

I am in the need to two services, but cannot seem to find them here in Vegas. I need a good leather tailor; one that could alter a leather jacket (the only one I can seem to find looks to be permanently closed??).

I also need a place that will develop old school black and white 35mm film, without it taking weeks.

Do any such places exist here?

Thanks for your help!

Regarding the B&W film, just get some panchromatic black & white film which can be easily processed by any color lab, for example:

Ilford XP2 Super Black and White Negative Film 1839575 B&H Photo

This is great stuff and works really well.

Thanks Waltman, but I need a lab for film I already have. To be honest, I found it after unpacking, its a few years old, and I don't even know if it is viable.

Actually as an ex-Rochesterian...send it to Kodak. If it is aged and questionable they are far and away the best shot. They are really good if you get their attention.

Thank you all. Walgreens? Who knew. Ivoc, you can send things right to Kodak? I wasn't even sure how much of Kodak still existed, film wise - it looks like abandoned city.

Oh, also, Id like to have it processed in time for Christmas, so turn around time for developing needs to be like a week to 10 days max. So it would have to be a place that develops in house or at least has a pretty quick turn around time.

Google Kodak film processing. I am pretty sure they are still at it.

I certainly will, as Walgreens (just FYI) was a no go. I went to 3 different Walgreens in Henderson, all referrals from the preceding store, and none of them develop traditional B & W film. The Walgreens on Lake Meade and Boulder Highway can develop C41 B & W film only.

In the interest of time, I will give Photo Shack a try, but as a back up, I will search Kodak.

Since no one responded, I guess no one know of a tailor that can work with leather? I need to get sleeves of a jacket adjusted.
