Default Hotel & Casino Smoke

Even the newest and nicest spots on the strip like "City Center" and "The Linq" allow smoking inside of their casinos which will definitely cause that odd smell. Even the most upscale hotels and casinos like the "Wynn" allow cigarette and e-cig smoking in the casino and hotel hallways. It will be difficult to avoid if you are into gaming.

If the OP asked, "I hate heat. How's Las Vegas in July," how would you answer? The OP obviously hates cigarette smoke. Just give him the facts.

It would be negative to sugar-coat it and ruin this person's vacation. That would be very, very negative.

Las Vegas: "We'll sugar coat it for ya! Come here and spend money!"

What is it about your snide, snotty arse that you have to provoke people not replying to you????
The OP asked for an opinion. I gave it.

You seem to HATE being here. I suggest you pack yourself up and find a life more suitable for your
cranky ole butt.

Cool Best Go Elsewhere

I've visited Las Vegas and was not smoking or drinking and I loved it as a tourist on the strip. Now, after three years as a resident, I still do not smoke but do drink some and still find many places on the strip lots of fun, although it is not my first choice of recreation.

That being said, I would advise you to just spend two or three days in Las Vegas, just to see it and maybe take in local sights other than the Strip. Try to go to Boulder Dam and Lake Mead, for sure. No smoke problems. Take a helicopter to the Grand Canyon and go on a raft down part of the Colorado River. Las Vegas is a good starting point to go to other places in Southwest, but if you are in the Southwest desert country in July, you must expect very high temperatures. I found that it took me two years to get accostomed to both the heat and, in some places, to the altitude. Don't let anyone tell you dry heat is easier to take than "normal" heat. When it goes above 100 degrees F. it is still hot and you need to drink plenty of water and watch out for heat exhaustion or heat stroke.

Hope you travel here, after getting all the details on the area. Millions of Europeans are among the forty million people who visit Las Vegas every single year. You will be welcome. Even Prince Harry will tell you that he had a good time on ''The Strip" [or should we say, Striping?]

Default Smoking rooms?

Do restaurants offer an inside secluded smoking area?

Or do smokers have to get outside of the restaurants to smoke?

I just wanna make sure If I do visit Vegas, that I at least can have smoke free meal.

Cheers.

Many restaurants only allow smoking in their bar areas, particularly if there is gaming at the bar. But many, many restaurants are completely smoke-free. Pick a place without a bar, and you're guaranteed to have a smoke-free dining experience.

Most restaurants are going to be smoke-free unless they allow e-cigarettes, which can be just as bad IMO. (not all places do)

In general, you should be able to eat a meal free from smoke.

As long as the restaurant is not directly adjacent to the gaming floor. But then we have the people who are very sensitive to smoke -- like the poster a couple pages back who has the ability to smell smoke from the MGM while driving on Las Vegas Boulevard.

If I'm at a restaurant next to the gaming floor, I try to sit as far away from the gaming floor as possible. Even then I can still sometimes smell smoke. The more "open" the dining area, the more it resembles the smoking/non-smoking sections on an early 1980s airplane -- totally pointless.
