Does it really matter? Most people get off the air-conditioned plane, get into an air-conditioned car, drive to the air-conditioned casino, and lose all their money in air-conditioned comfort.

Who really cares what time of year it is? Take the bargain room rates. That gives the visitor more funds to bankrupt themselves at the tables instead of bankrupting themselves on high-season hotel rooms.

Just came back from Vegas--extremely crowded in July! I imagine the crowds thin out by October, the weather is more mild, and all of the amenities are still there. I would not go back in July.

It's a no-brainer. October is our finest month. We became a state on October 31st, but we can't observe it on that day anymore because it upsets some Mormons (who are considered non- Christian heretics by the evangelicals) and those ass wipes too.

They can't seem to deal with the fact that Nevada became a state on Halloween.
It's a great time to be here. Just check out the bands on the Fremont street experience's website!
The only reason Nevada doesn't celebrate the birthday on Oct 31, when it doesn't, is to make a three day holiday out of the weekend, and allow kids from schools in southern Nevada to have time off to be in the parade in Carson City. So sometimes that actually falls on Oct 31.

Let's don't attack people's beliefs. It always shows the attacker doesn't have a clue.

There's pretty much 3½ million tourists every month = 41 million a year.

Thanks for the info folks. I will most likely be going to Vegas between September 21 and Oct. 3rd (perhaps not the whole time, but at least for a week). What's the best side trip from Vegas?
