The Bellagio Fountains are right across the street. They're better viewed from the strip than from on the Bellagio property

The fountains run during the day, but are much more interesting to watch at night. You didn't say what time your going to be there. You might have time to take a spin around Bellagio. You could get a cab back to the airport from there.
Thanks for information.
My layover is from 12 PM to 4 PM on Wednesday.

Four hours? Stay in the airport. You're looking at an hour to get back to your departure gate, sometimes even more. I have cut it too close giving myself two hours to get to the gate.

Takes about 30 minutes to get from your arrival gate to the MGM (closest major resort to the airport), and budget two hours to get back (and you may wish you gave yourself more time). That leaves you with an hour-and-a-half to do what? Play some blackjack?

You can play slots, shop and get some halfway decent food in McCarran. I'd skip the slots though -- likely the worst pay-out percentages in Las Vegas. They have video poker, so you can check the odds of those if you have a burning desire to subsidize our property taxes.

If you arrive at noon which in airline speak is 12:30pm and then board the connecting flight at about 3:30pm you will have two hours free time.

At arrival, follow your fellow passengers to the cab line at McCarran baggage claim. That will take 20 minutes. You'll see signage in the baggage claim area for that. Find the cab line and wait no longer than 20 minutes. Load up and say "the MGM". It will be left on Tropicana, about two miles west and on the right, about a 20 minute rid depending. Get out of the cab, pay including a tip, and walk around the lobby and casino. Play one pass line bet or five, check out the pool area of which will take about one or two hours. Walk back to the same cab drop off point and get another $15.00 cab fare plus tip back to McCarran which will take about one hour. Arrive early at TSA to shelp your luggage around which may take thirty minutes. You never know.

Or you can stay in the main terminal and play the slots at the airport gate or baggage claim areas and then relax and eat at one of the many restaurants available there. Do a a google search.

Good luck!

Assuming your flight arrives on time , follow BBMW's advice .... taxi to PARIS via Swenson, then walk across the street to see the Bellagio. You don't really need to go inside Paris. Midweek the fountains don't start until 3pm then every half hour until 7pm.
If you have time, run inside the Bellagio to check out the Conservatory which is just beyond the Front Desk. As you're facing the Bellagio, go to the left side of the lake and follow the sidewalk to the main entrance. At 2 pm, pick up a cab at the Bellagio and head to the airport for your 4pm flight.

Which airline? Hopefully you'll be at the new terminal which I find to be very quiet I've picked up and dropped off guests at the new terminal 3 times this month and it was dead every trip.

Good luck.

You may want to consider going to take a ride on the High Roller at the Linq. The ride takes 1/2 an hour and it would give you a chance to get a good look of the strip and surround areas.

Call Bell Limo. Hire a town car for 3 hours. They will meet you at the down escalator from the flight area.

He/she will hussle luggage and get you to the low level limo park. Cut the time to clear the airport in half.

Then just use the car as a base. Have it take you to the front of Bellagio. You jump out and he goes around the block or hides somewhere until you call him. Stop somewhere else and have a drink. Or skip Bellagio and go eat at the terrace at Mon Ami Gabi @Paris. Good views of the Bellagio Pond. When you start to run out of time have the car drop you back at the airport. Cost around $120.

For a few more bucks you can get a limo with a sun roof and gawk your way down the strip.

Extremely unlikely you will have a wait for a cab or more than a 10 minute trip through security. Wednesday afternoon is about slow as it gets.

Thanks guys for information.
If my flight arrives late, I'd skip the tour of course. Also if I find airport is too crowded, I'd skip it too. I won't risk my flight. The good thing that I don't have luggage with me; since it's a connection flight, my luggage will go directly to my final destination.
I guess we will land on Terminal 1.

Stay in the airport. Four hours is cutting it close. Just make plans to comeback to Vegas for a visit. If possible fly in at night to see the Lights.
